The Goddess Parvati Yoga Witchcraft Tiny Handbook
The Goddess Parvati Yoga Witchcraft Tiny Handbook covers what it’s like to be a yoga witch, yoga witchcraft spells, and combining the practice of yoga and witchcraft with Plants By Laurali!
This past year, I’ve been floundering with my yoga practice, and I have recently decided to rededicate myself to it. My yoga goddess is the Goddess Parvati, the Hindu goddess of love, family, motherhood, and devotion. But she is also the goddess of yoga.
Whenever I purchase a new yoga mat, she is the one who taught me how to enchant it with whatever intention I choose. She has also helped me with weight-loss witchcraft spells using the yoga mat.
It is said that Goddess Parvati practiced yoga and meditation for decades to win the affection of Lord Shiva, the Hindu God of destruction and transformation. She is nothing if not devoted!
I not only rekindled my love of yoga, but I rekindled my relationship with Parvati. She is divine femininity, love, and devotion. She is the fertile ground in which we build our yoga practice.
My relationship with the Goddess Parvati goes back a long way. In fact, before my devotion to Greco-Roman deities, I was deeply involved in Hindu deities for a long period of time.
Parvati came back into my life when I needed her the most! She’s the goddess who will help me devote my time and energy back into my yoga practice, and she can do the same for you.
Goddess Parvati won Lord Shiva’s heart through her devotion to yoga and meditation. Lord Shiva is the lord of yogis. What could be more romantic than that?
More importantly, yoga is nothing if not about devotion and regular practice! Yoga witchcraft combines my two favorite things: Yoga and Witchcraft. Today, I’m going to share with you how Goddess Parvati can enhance your practice through magical spells and regular practice.
The Goddess Parvati Yoga Witchcraft Tiny Handbook
When I think of Goddess Parvati, I think of yoga witchcraft! Every yoga instructor has a different way of incorporating magic into their classes, and for me, I like to choose an intention or focus word before I start practice.
I often place healing gemstones around my yoga mat to pick up the vibes of the intention I choose. For example, if I choose the word focus, I might use green fluorite. If I choose the intention of clearing my energy, then I might place clear quartz crystals around my mat.
Additionally, I sometimes place an oracle or tarot card under my mat that aligns with the energy of my yoga intention. One of my favorite yoga cards is the Temperance Tarot Card because it represents balance.
Another thing I might do is light an intention candle. I simply choose an intention, carve it into my candle with candle magick, dress it with oil and herbs, and light it. Each time I light it, I feed my intention before starting yoga for the day.
I also pray to Goddess Parvati every morning before beginning my practice. It’s usually a small prayer, but a powerful one! I ask her to deepen my yoga practice and set an intention for the day. I also ask her to protect me from injury.
Working with Goddess Parvati to deepen your vinyasa flow or wake-up yoga can be highly beneficial! She creates a deep layer of devotion to your practice, helping you delve into yoga philosophy and its various branches.
She can teach you about the different asanas, pranayama, mudras, bandhas, chakras, and how to get started with meditation. Breathing exercises help you breathe magick into your body and release any negativity by breathing out.
If you are looking to start a yoga practice or deepen an existing one, Goddess Parvati will show you the light, the truth, and the way! Mastery over yoga is her forte.
How to Dedicate Your Yoga Practice to Goddess Parvati
You can use this exercise to either dedicate yourself to yoga for the first time, or to rededicate yourself after a long hiatus. I usually use cozy tea witchcraft rituals to relax myself before the dedication. Mint tea seems to be a good choice for this!
Then, I take a piece of paper and write down Goddess Parvati’s name and tell her all of the things I’d like to dedicate to her in my practice. I usually write down focus words and phrases.
For example, words like vinyasa flow, yin yoga, meditation, and yoga magick all make the cut. Then, I read aloud all of the words and phrases. Then, I burn the piece of paper in my tiny cauldron.
This releases the spirit of the dedication to Goddess Paravti, allowing her to feel your devotion through smoke and fire witchcraft. From there, you can say a little prayer to Goddess Parvati, allowing her to guide your practice in magical ways.
How to Be a Yoga Witch
Goddess Paarvati can take your yoga practice next level, but incorporating witchcraft into your vinyasa flow can amplify it! Becoming a yoga witch is all about yoga witch spells and rituals that fit into your practice and routines.
You can use objects, such as crystals, incense, candles, and tarot cards alongside your yoga mat or by placing them underneath if they are flat. You can create a sigil to place underneath your yoga mat representing your intention. Each time you practice your down dog, you activate your sigil and bring it to life!
Some people like to create yoga sequences to create a spell. For example, you can use sun salutations to both connect with the sun and to create warm family memories.
Another thing you can do is create a nature in an envelope spell to place underneath your mat as you practice! Fill a pretty envelope with spell ingredients that match your magical intention.
Prayer is another way to bring magic and miracles into your practice! Working with deities, such as Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva, can power your spell.
There are so many ways to incorporate magic into your yoga practice! Feel free to call on Goddess Parvati to help you come up with some creative ideas. She’s extremely resourceful!
Yoga Witchcraft Spells
To make yoga witchcraft spells, I recommend incorporating mantras, mudras, and aligning with the lunar cycles and seasons. This not only enhances your craft, but helps you be mindful of what you’d like to bring into existence.
One of the things you can do is incorporate chakras into your yoga spells! If your intention is money magick, you can use the root chakra to create a magical spell.
Think about what you’d like to manifest and use a mantra, which is a word or sound, to resonate with your magical intention. Om, for example, is a resonant sound that brings clear-thinking, calm, and mindfulness into existence.
So, say you’re working on an anti-anxiety spell, the om sound may be the way to go! You can also use a matching mudra. In an anti-anxiety spell, vayu Mudra would be the way to go.
If you’d like to release anxiety, the full moon or dark moon might be the perfect time to do a yoga spell! These are periods when you want to let go of something and release it from your life.
Seasonally, the winter solstice would be the perfect time to shed old skin and get ready for rebirth. This would be the ideal time to do an anti-anxiety spell.
Another way to do yoga magick spells is through meditation. Meditation makes things crystal clear and aids with focus, clear-thinking, and concentration. It’s the perfect way to clear your mind of nothing but your intention.
In meditation, you can often connect with goddess. Not only have I seen Goddess Parvati during meditation, but I’ve seen Quan Yin and a few mysterious goddesses, too. Let them come through.
Sometimes, they will show you symbolism when you reach a higher state. One time, I saw Quan Yin holding a key. I later found out what that key was for and what door was opening.
Spend more time in savatsana, also known as corpse pose. This is often overlooked and underrated in yoga class. It’s an important step towards meditation, which is a vital step towards building a magical yoga witchcraft practice.
Working with the magic of yoga is a wonderful way to add mindfulness to your daily practice! It shines a light on your intention and clarifies what you’d like to manifest.
